When you make a booking with Detecting Golden Stone Adventures it will require that you have agreed to these terms and conditions.

Adventure Terms and Conditions

​

Detecting Golden Stone Adventures may update these Terms and Conditions for operational, legal or regulatory reasons.  Last updated: 21/10/22 

1. All participants must be completely self contained - including accommodation (with canister or chemical portaloos), all food, water, appropriate footwear and clothing, safety and detecting equipment.  Suitable 4WD vehicle required for outback travel. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ADEQUATE FOOD, FUEL AND WATER for the duration of the Adventure, and to get you back to the nearest town.

2. The price of an Adventure does not include your Miners Rights or any 40e permits that may be required to detect on a particular lease as this is a contract between DMIRS and you (instructions can be provided on how to obtain these if required).  

3.  The location of the adventure, including "mud" map will be given once full payment has been made, as well as any details of any 40E permits that may be required.

4. It is mandatory that you have your miners right and is highly recommended that all participants are a member of APLA.

5.  Unruly or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in the immediate eviction from the campsite (no credits will be given under this circumstance).

6.  While all care will be taken with the safety of all participants and their belongings no liability will be taken by Detecting Golden Stone Adventures or any of its employees for any loss, damages or injuries, incurred.

7. Access into areas of which we travel as always have the possibility to increase the chance of damage to your vehicle. You should expect bush pinstriping from overgrowth and other associated breakages that come with enjoying this lifestyle we engage in.

8. Detecting Golden Stone Adventures welcomes children to adventures. You as their legal guardian must ensure in your specific situation that all needs, requirements and care are 100% achievable while involved with an adventure. You must also be aware and take reasonable steps to ensure your children are well behaved and don’t negatively impact other guests who are equally entitled to the enjoyment of a trip away.

9. Pets are permitted on our Detecting Golden Stone Adventures, please note that baiting does and can occur and as such Detecting Golden Stone Adventures and it's employee's hold no responsibility for the wellbeing of your pet.  Dogs must be kept on leads at all time when in the campground.

10.  You agree to observe the safety advice and other instructions of the Detecting Golden Stone Adventures staff or representatives, for the duration of the Adventure.

11. While every care and precaution is taken, you understand that Detecting Golden Stone Adventures is not liable for the sickness or injury of any participant.

12. Where an Adventure is carried out in an area without proper medical services, Detecting Golden Stone Adventures and its staff are expressly authorised for you and each participant for whom you are responsible to take such action as is -necessary for the provision of medical services. This shall include, but not be limited to, the arrangement of any medical evacuation service by air/road, the attendance of any doctor/nurse, and any necessary hospital service. You understand that all associated costs of the provision of medical services as specified are to be borne in full by you.

13. Detecting Golden Stone Adventures strongly recommends that you take out a comprehensive motor vehicle and travel insurance policy including medical evacuation coverage, cancellation and theft of personal property, and personal public liability, in order for you to be covered against any losses for which you would otherwise be liable under this agreement for travel on any Detecting Golden Stone Adventure.

14.  Detecting Golden Stone Adventures agrees to uphold core environmental values and actions by individuals. We do not condone dumping of litter, or dumping of toilet canisters in the bush, disregard for native flora/fauna or any activity that damages or disrespects the environment. 

15. Every participant is responsible  to ensure all waste created by participants are taken away for proper disposal.

16. Detecting Golden Stone Adventures may operate, with either 40E permits or direct permission Adventures, accessing private/leasehold land, where you enter entirely at your own risk, and all claims arising for damage, injury, loss or death sustained while on private/leasehold land are not the responsibility, or liability of Detecting Golden Stone Adventures, the Private/Leasehold Land Owners, or any other party associated or involved with Detecting Golden Stone Adventures. Participate at YOUR OWN RISK. 

17. You accept full responsibility for the maintenance of your vehicle during the adventure. This includes regularly checking water, battery and oil levels as well as tyre pressures.  You also understand that the Adventure price does not include the cost of any vehicle repairs or towing expenses.

18. If you are booking on behalf of other people, you are acknowledging that they agree to all of these terms and conditions. As the person making the booking, you do so on the behalf of all participants you are booking for, and you should take reasonable steps to make sure these Terms and Conditions are made aware to other people in the booking, so they are of full understanding & compliance. (This includes when you bring a non paying, non detecting partner with you on one of our Adventures)

Refund Policy

1. In justifiable circumstances credits will be offered to book future adventures. In this event please provide contact via phone or email, as soon as possible, so the position can be potentially re-booked.  This is under the discretion of Detecting Golden Stone Adventures.

Legal Considerations

1. Detecting Golden Stone Adventures or its representatives associated with Adventures DO NOT accept any liability for any damage to any persons or property (including motor vehicle damage in any form, speeding fines, or any other consequences of breaking the law) resulting from the subsequent action of participants.

2. You give your permission for Detecting Golden Stone Adventures to use any digital, film, audio recordings or video photographs that may be taken of you, your family or your vehicle, in their advertising, web site, or Facebook page. NB. If you do not wish your digital information to be used, including images and videos, please complete the form provided to you.

3. Notwithstanding anything contained in these Terms and Conditions to the contrary, Detecting Golden Stone Adventures shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, injury, delay, damage or other casualty suffered or incurred by you due to any event such as storms, fires, earthquakes, explosions, embargoes, pandemics, Government directives, Government restrictions or any other law or regulation, litigation or labour dispute, act of God, war, terrorism, or any other cause which is beyond our reasonable control.

4. These Terms and Conditions are and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of the State of Western Australia. Any legal conflict which may arise under these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved in the legal jurisdiction of Western Australia.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.detectinggoldenstoneadventures.com (the “Site”).

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.” Additionally when you book an Adventure or buy some merchandise, we collect certain information from you, including your name, email address, phone number and physical addresses. We refer to this information as “adventure” or “merchandise” data.  None of this information is given or sold to third parties.
